An avid learner with an extremely curious spirit, I have
trained in, practiced and taught a variety of healing modalities, body-centered therapies and movement methods for over 35 years.
I have a keen interest in the meeting point of science, art and spirit - and I search for those intersections in all that I offer. Starting at a young age in dance, drama and music, I went on to study psychology and theatre in university, and developed a lifelong passion for somatic, holistic and expressive art approaches, all examples of those intersections.
I've been in full-time private practice for over 30 years, and have developed, taught and/or assisted programs. projects and materials in numerous places, including Kripalu, Leven Institute, Spirit Fire, The Centre of Light, Ottawa Theatre School, Rama Lotus, Kalyana Yoga Shala, Prana Shanti, Galilee Retreat, Movement Arts Ottawa and the International Academy of Natural Health Sciences.
I lean into the grounded details of projects, I have owned and operated several successful organizations: a busy Wellness Centre (The Clinic Upstairs), for over a decade; established the Intuitive Subtle Energy Society; The Doula Care Community and co-created the Whole Family Centre. I was a caretaker for Tapestry House - a space for caregivers, and repeatedly organized the Self Care Health Fair there for a number of years. I've more recently co-partnered in the creation of JoyFest and I presently work in collaboration with Ninth Wave Arts and Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre. I support the work of Zacciah Blackburn and Dorothy Stone at Sunreed and Sunreed Center.
I live to learn and love to inspire others to do the same. I offer individual sessions, mentoring, group teachings and trainings. I am also available to develop customized programs and retreats. My passion is to be in service to creative, resonant, holistic endeavours that inspire.
